Arrival
Trivandrum Kovalam (16 Km; ½ hr)
Arrival
at Trivandrum International airport. Met and transferred
to your hotel at Kovalam. In the afternoon, a
short city tour with a visit to Padmanabhaswamy
Temple (foreigners are not allowed inside the
temple). Return to the hotel.
Overnight at Kovalam.

Cape (Kanyakumari) (99 Km; 2 hrs)
Breakfast. Proceed to the Kanyakumari, the southernmost
tip of India. En route, visit Padmanabhapuram
Palace and Sucheendram Temple. By noon, reach
Cape, the land where the three oceans Viz, Indian
Ocean, Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal meet with
each other. Later, take a boat ride to Vivekanada
rock, where the Great Indian Philosopher Swamy
Vivekananda went into contemplation. Other attractions
here are Gandhi Memorial and Statue of Thiruvalluvar.
After returning from the rock, visit Kanyakumari
Devi Temple. In the evening watch a magnificent
sunset before returning to your hotel.

Kanyakumari
Madurai (253 Km; 6 hrs)
Breakfast.
Then proceed to Madurai, the city famed as the
Cultural cradle of South India. Visit
Tirumalai Naikar Palace & Gandhi museum. In
the evening, visit the famous Madurai Meenakshi
temple, which is one of the largest in India,
and a city within itself.

Rameswaram Madurai (173 km per way;
4 ½ hrs)
Breakfast. Take a day return trip to Rameswaram,
considered as one of the most sacred towns of
India. Take a dip in Agnitheertham
and visit the Ramanathaswamy Temple at Rameswaram.
The temple is well known for its 197 metres long
corridor, the longest in India, with enormous
sculptured pillars lining it. Later, return to
Madurai.

- Periyar (136 Km; 4 hrs)
Breakfast. Drive to Periyar (Thekkady) well known
for its wealth of flora and fauna. Vist the wild
life sanctuary in the evening. Enjoy boating in
Periyar lake. This will give you opportunity to
view the majestic wild life at close quarters.
The most common sightings here are elephants,
deers, wild boars, bisons etc. Return to your
hotel.

- Cochin (192 Km; 5 hrs)
Breakfast. Drive to Cochin. Visit the Chinese
fishing nets, Jewish synagogue and Dutch Place
at Cochin. Return to your hotel.

Guruvayoor (108 Km; 3 hrs) Thrissur
(29 Km; ½ hr)
Breakfast. Drive to Guruvayoor, the abode of Lord
Krishna, and one of the most sacred worship places
of Hindus in Kerala, the temple is also famed
as Dwarka of the South. (Non Hindus
are not allowed inside the temple). Later drive
to Trissur, the Cultural capital f Kerala. Visit
the Vadakkumnatha Temple at Trissur.
Overnight at Trissur.

Departure transfer to Cochin airport/ Trichur
