Cochin
Arrival at Cochin International airport/ railway
station. Met at the airport and transferred to
your hotel.
Activities for the day:
Visit the Dutch Palace at Mattancherry,
the 16th century Jewish Synagogue containing some
of Indias most beautiful murals, the St.Francis
Church at Fort Kochi and enjoy a majestic view
of the cantilevered ancient Chinese fishing nets.

Cochin
Munnar (135 Km; 4 hrs)
BTransfer from Cochin to Munnar. Check in to the
hotel at Munnar, a hill station at an altitude
of 1600 metres above sea level, at the confluence
of three mountain streams, and popularly famed
as Tea City.
Activities
for the day:
Enjoy the cool and transcendent climate and the
unpolluted environments. You will be visiting
Munnars tea plantations. Take a stroll through
the blue hills kissing the clouds, inhaling the
sweet scent of fresh tea leaves. The endless greenery
will make you a poet or dip in your favorite book
in the lap of mother nature.

Munnar
Sight seeing in Munnar. Overnight at Munnar.
Activities
for the day:
Visit Eravikulam National Park (It is the home
of Nilgiri Tahrs, a species of wild ibex, which
are on the verge of extinction), Echo Point and
Munnar town.

Munnar
- Periyar (110 Km; 4 hrs)
Transfer to Periyar (Thekkady) from Munnar through
the picturesque vale of the Cardamom hills in
the Western Ghats. On arrival check in to the
resort.
Activities
for the day:
Take a leisurely walk in the local spice market.
You can also pay a visit to the souvenir shops
around.

Periyar
Sightseeing of Periyar.
Activities
for the day:
Visit Periyar wild life sanctuary, one of the
well maintained wild life sanctuaries of South
India, which sprawls over an area of 777 sq kms.
Boat cruise on the serene Periyar Lake offers
the opportunity to view of Tiger, Bison, Spotted,
Deer and Gaur in their natural habitat, if lucky.

Periyar
Kumarakom (125 Km; 4 hrs) ~ Alleppey (by
houseboat)
Drive to Kumarakom, a small backwater village
which lies along the backwaters of Kerala, with
a bird sanctuary overlooking the Vembanad Lake.
Here, you can get a feel of the essence of a typical
village life of Kerala. Check in to houseboat
for an overnight cruise through the unique back
waters of Kerala. Houseboat will be your transportation
for the day and accommodation for the night. Glide
along the narrow canals laced by the infinite
greenery imparted by coconut palms, watch the
gentle and soothing greenery of paddy fields and
the village folk at work. Relax on board listening
to the lullaby of the wind and waves. Chill yourself
out, watching the endless strips of greenery passing
by and the emerald green waters meet the crystal
blue sky, whilst the houseboat cruises in a relaxing
pace. This would be an experience, which you would
always treasure to remember.
Cruise till 6 in the evening by when the houseboat
halts in the lake for overnight stay. (Next day,
cruising starts at 7 am.)
Enjoy a fabulous dinner onboard houseboat.

Alleppey
Kovalam (180 Km; 4 hrs)
Check out at Alleppey, the Venice of the
East and head to the majestic Kovalam Beach,
leaving behind, the placid backwaters. Overnight
at the resort in Kovalam.
Activities
for the day:
En route to Kovalam, take a short city tour of
Trivandrum, the Capital city of Kerala. Visit
Padmanabhaswamy Temple, Napiers museum and
Sri Chitra Art Gallery.
