DAY 1 :

COCHIN

Arrival at Cochin International airport. Transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon, take a short city tour of Cochin. Visit the Chinese fishing nets, Dutch Palace, St Francis Church, Jewish Synagogue etc. Overnight at Cochin.

DAY 2 :

COCHIN -CHERUTHURUTHY (111 KMS;2HRS)

Breakfast. Drive to Cheruthuruty in the morning. Visit the world famous Kalamandalam where training is given to the traditional art forms of Kerala. Spend the rest of the day at your riverside resort. Overnight at Cheruthuruthy.

DAY 3 :

CHERUTHURUTHY - WYANAD (209KMS;5HRS)

Breakfast. Drive to Wynad. In the afternoon, take an excursion to Pookot Lake, a natural fresh water lake bordered by evergreen forests. Overnight at Wynad.

DAY 4 :

WYANAD

Breakfast. Take a visit to the prehistoric Edakkal caves. The cave has ancient paintings, carvings and inscriptions dating back to the stone ages. Later, proceed to Soochippara waterfalls, a 3 tiered waterfall, which is an eternal natural splendor amidst the dark and deep woods. Return to the hotel. Overnight at Wynad.

DAY 5 :

WYANAD - CALICUT(100KMS; 2 1/2HRS)

Breakfast. Take a breathtakingly scenic drive along the winding mountain path to Calicut. Visit the Pazhassiraja Museum and art gallery. You can also take a visit to the Kappad beach. Overnight at Calicut.

DAY 6 :

CALICUT

Breakfast. Visit the 'Dolphin's point' early in the morning, where you can watch the playful dolphins in the sea. Drive to Beypore, 11 km from Calicut a small coastal town famous for its country crafts called 'Uru' built by the traditional shipubuilders known as khalasis. Overnight at Calicut.
