of the dancer has been compared to the palms swaying
in the gentle breeze and the sweeping waves that are
an integral part of Kerala's kaleidoscopic, lush landscape,
a sensuous resemblance with its land of birth.

Martial art of Kerala, deeply linked with Yoga, Ayurveda
and Dance forms. As old as the green land itself. Being
the root of Karate and Kungfu, taught by the "gurukkal"-
a master who is an exponent in the field .Kalaripayattu
is a spiritual discipline, as it is physical.

| Theyyam |
|
One
of the most outstanding ancient dance forms of North
Kerala. The word 'Theyyam' originated from 'Daivam'
means nothing but God. The bizarre head dresses, costumes
and body painting and trance like performances. Headgear
and costume made out of natural materials like coconut
leaves and bark.

| Panchavadyam |

A symphony of five percussion instruments, a unique
musical system in which two or more groups with similar
percussion instruments are played, initially independently
and together eventually in a progressive manner, to
reach the audience at the peak of their appreciation
process. Played and performed only in Kerala.
