DAY 1 :

COCHIN

Arrival at Cochin International airport/ railway station. Met at the airport and transferred to Palakkad, vast expanse of verdant plains interspersed with hills, rivers, mountain streams and forest. Checkin to the hotel.

Activities for the day:

Visit Tippu Sultan Fort, Malampuzha dam, Pothundy Dam. Overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 2 :

NELLIYAMPATY

After Breakfast, move to Nelliampathi - the hill station at Palakkad Dist.

Activities for the day:

Visiting Tribal Colony (1800 ft above sea level), Kesavanpara (3650 ft above sea level) Kesavanpara cave, Karapara Water falls (Athirapally is the starting point). Over night stay at the hotel.

DAY 3 :

NELLIYAMPATHY

Sight seeing in Nelliyampathy. Overnight at Munnar.

Activities for the day:

After breakfast, you can visit Seetharkund, which offers a panoramic view of about one third of Palaghat. This hill country is the delight of trekkers. Maanpara (4330 ft above sea level- Athirapally waterfalls can be seen from this site using binoculars). Karassury (4860 ft above sea level)- here you can see all sort of wild animals and also it depends on your luck. Overnight stay at the hotel.
